I remember that one of the saddest moments I have ever experienced as a kid was the Lion King. I am sure most 20-25 year old people have still that emotional scar from the movie. Well, open your heart and tell your experience.

I still get watery eyes when I see Mufasa fall down of the cliff. I remember that even when Simba was an adult I kept the hope of Mufasa being alive...

I'm too old to have had that film hit me like that.

I didn't cry. It was until very recently in my life that emotions like that effect me. The other day I almost cried while watching ESPN

when I was younger I cried so much. It's still sad, it just doesn't have the same effect nowadays, as it did when I was a child.

I thought it was pretty cool. Didn't sadden me a bit. I just wanted Simba to get revenge.

The scene in Never Ending Story where Atreyu's horse dies in the swamp places was way worse for me. Also I heard a rumour that the horse actually died because the platform wasn't working when trying to push the horse back out of the water, which makes it even much worse for me.

Why? Was it that dumb "because of Len now other athletes won't OD"? That is such nonsense. The only sad part is his actual death and his brother for that matter.

Not gonna lie, the part where Mufasa gets knocked off of the cliff and trampled makes me cry every time.

Actually, I'm starting to feel a little teary-eyed right now just thinking about it...

*runs away to bathroom to cry while hugging copy of Lion King*

No, there was a kid with Down Syndrome and he wanted to play football, and they let him score a TD. It was so nice.

Although I didn't cry, it's still a really sad scene. :(

That movie never bothered me when I was a kid. I loved it (still do) but the death scenes never got to me.

It is possible he is from a country embroiled in a terrible civil war during the years around the release of that movie . . .

I remember sobbing at the theater watching the end of Aladdin. I think I still get teary-eyed at the scene in The Lion King, and I probably did cry when I first saw it.
