Actually there was a lot more then just computer problems being debated in 2000, people thought it would be the end of the world. Hell on MTV they were playing Its the End of the World by REM as the ball struck zero!

maybe the mayans were like " why the **** are we doing this calender till 2012? we wont even live that long ...let those people make their own damn calender" and stopped ....and if the world those end that year .....well then that just sucks dosent it?RiceKrispie

but im talking on a logical sense, yes some thought the world would really end,which was crazy babel, but im just sayingthat that time there was actually a worry that computer failures could lead to stuff like massive depressions, i heard one thing about nuclear system computers would mess and and fire,which would seem more likely than demons and an apocalypes.
Not sure which bible they were reading but I am possitive it wasn't the Holy Bible.
