[QUOTE="GameBoy966"]That specificity is a pretty remarkable claim; can you point me to a verse that gives such a specific time for the nation to be restored? A quick survey by way of Google, and the only prophecies I could find about the restoration of Israel were OT ones; I'm surprised that Torah prophecy would be invoked by a Christian, since followers of that book are still waiting on the first coming of the Messiah. But the bible said how long Iseral would have to wait to get thier country, and it was supposed to be much sonner, but they didn`t change thier ways so the number of yrs was muiltiplyed by some number (i forget) so it sorta says they will get it back in 1948. I'm certainly not accusing you of making stuff up or anything like that, but I do remain skeptical until actual verses can be found that say this. Edit: Looking at what I would assume to be a sympathetic source, all the verses cited for this prophecy there were very vague and gave no indication of time.[QUOTE="xaos"][QUOTE="Josh_345"][QUOTE="xaos"][QUOTE="Josh_345"]Also, Israel comming back in the year 1948 was in the bible. It didn`t say 1948, but if you add up the years its right.xaos
The prophecies are in the Isreali Bible, but not in the way you're thinking.
It's called the Bible Code. I'm not entirely sure how it works, but I think if you look at a letter in the Isreali Bible, and jump, say, 3 spaces ahead, then it's possible that you'll get sentences if you keep jumping 3 spaces. This has been PROVEN to happen, and it predicted president Bush's speech after 9/11, among many other things.
If you're interested, try looking up "The Shadow of the Apocalypse: When all Hell Breaks Loose." By Paul Crouch.
Funny; my sources say it has been disprovenLike I said, I don't know much about it, but your link doesn't DISPROVE anything. There are a lot of can's, maybe's, and might's, but no definitely's or certainly's.
