England is in Great Britain which is in the UK. Am I the only who thought England, Great Britain, and the UK were all the same?

I can understand the colloquialism of referring to the United Kingdom as Great Britain, but referring to the whole of the UK as England? What.

I always knew that ,but I have noticed a lot of Americans seem to use the three interchangeably. Something I blame on our school school system for not teaching geography properly.

Whenever I hear a male speaking with an English accent, I always assume he is a criminal genius mastermind. With class.

Most people that I know from England are actually really smart. Its like... if you meet someone who is smart they are very smart, and if you meet someone who is kind of... slow.. they are... REALLY slow. o_O Thats just kind of what i noticed.

the entire island that England is on is Great Britain. So Scottish and Welsh people technically are British too since their countries are on that piece of land.

No, Great Britain is England, Wales and Scotland. Britain is just short for Great Britain, or it could refer to the United Kingdom as a whole.

That's a Euler diagram. I don't think they're trying to be geographically accurate.
