Let me put it this way. If someone asks me where I live I say Cumbria, England. Because that's the country. If I said UK or Britain that doesn't help as they aren't countries. And I wouldn't say Europe as that's not exactly specific.

I knew they all weren't the same, but I didn't know the exact areas of each.

England is in the United Kingdom.

Great Britain is another term for UK used by many people.

Even that isn't correct, though.

I just call it America part 2. Well, part 3. Canada is part 2.
