Ever been played by a girl?

I completely agree. I went on a date with this girl last December, turned out she was a couple weeks pregnant with some other guy's kid when her and I went to see "I Am Legend". She just gave birth a couple of days ago. It's crazy to see all of these girls I know having kids. I'm just glad I didn't get stuck with dating her and then having to help take care of someone else's kid.

Now that I think about it, I was played by her! She came off as wanting to date and stuff, then it turns out she is dating someone and having his kid. I can't believe I didn't think of that as being played until just now.

Well, in that certian case I would suppose she would be just using you. A rebound from just getting pregnant and hopefully setting up a relationship to have a bf to help her during pregnancy. If you are like me, I would be glad to get out of that situation, as that is not something I want to deal with. I think its crazy to see everyone getting married, as well as people getting pregnant. I'm buddies with a couple of dads. That to me sounds so freaky.

Nope and I hope I never am. It would cause some serious emotional damage for me that would be difficult to recover from. It takes me a while to open up to someone and if they play me for a long time just to hurt me, it would hurt bad.foxhound_fox

Yeah, I'm certainly glad I escaped. The girl had been trying to date me for the last few years, but I hadn't given her a shot until then. Apparently she had tried this on guys before, trying to purposefully get pregnant because her friends had also had kids(in their teens too). So she finally got what she wanted and became pregnant. After I went on that date with her I think she probably just wanted me to take her places. Because the guy that got her pregnant(the same guy she is with now)didn't take her to movies and stuff. So at least I didn't fall into that trap and get stuck with a kid I didn't want from a girl that I wouldn't want to spend the rest of my life with. I'm fortunate enough that my closest friends don't have any kids yet. That would make me feel incredibly old. I don't want to ever have kids. That's just too much responsibility and I like my freedom.

Yeah, it's funny how somewhere in that weird little modern world of sex being "no big deal," everyone seems to have neglected the tiny little fact that it can lead to pregnancy, as if that was just like an occasional side effect or something.

Precisely, I don't see how hard it is to cut the chances of getting pregnant substantially by wearing a condom and/or using the pill or another means of contraception. But that girl did it on purpose and so did two other girls I know. The other's I see walking around, I don't know about.

I know what you mean, people can make up stuff and you cant disprove it. Theres that detachment from real life on the web. I guess you just have to be honest all the time, and make friends with those who dont tell lies :P

After reading the posts in this thread, apparently I don't either. I thought it was just someone acting like they are having a serious and committed relationship with you and that it's important to them when really it isn't and it's mostly just an act.
