Yep, I was suspended for one day for quoting an offensive picture a couple of weeks ago. Really sucks being suspended.

The problem is that posting in an Account Suicide thread gives the person suiciding their account the very thing they want on their way out the door: Attention and a sort of sudden fame. It also keeps the threads up at the top of the first page of threads on the board, crowding out legitimate threads. Best approach when you see an Account Suicide remains: Report it and then leave it alone.^^ I once got suspened for posting in a suicide thread where the guy appeared to be apologising for an earlier thread and saying goodbye (back in the days of SW bets)but had posted porn pics (which came up on everyone's comps as white boxes with red x's) when someone checked the links and found they were porn later in the thread (not on first page). I edited my response (which was the first post) to warn people not to post, then reported it directly on Ask the Mods and still got a suspension (and no one else who posted in the thread did - i happenned to know alot of them). Thought that was a little unfair, don't know what else I could have done.
I remember that guy. pornfail lulzbut had posted porn pics (which came up on everyone's comps as white boxes with red x's)

[QUOTE="Boston_Boyy"]lol yeah look at the post count of the posters there, it doesn't even come close to OT or any other board for that matter due to the fact that the account life expend before a permanent ban, is probably a few thousand posts (less than 5K atleast) Some there managed to learn the rules and have 20K+ posts... I'd compare that to living until 95 if we were comparing, post count vs. permanent ban, to age vs. death[QUOTE="scar-hawk"]I've been suspended for 1 week :( I believe it was for flaming. :P And I was obviously in System Wars :lol:horgen123
They can also be posting at other places ;) I post from there from time to time (SW) but it doesn't mean I have made 40K posts there :PI'd compare that to living until 95 if we were comparing, post count vs. permanent ban, to age vs. death

And by posting in them you are bumping them up and keeping them on the top. As for the original question, once in 2005 for flaming what I and others thought was a bandodger. A lot of people got suspended in that thread. Learned my lesson though.[QUOTE="-xPANICx-"]then instead of taking it out on us, then why dont you just lock them?Because we do not always see or are notified about them right away.
