I had a surgery to remove a hernia when I was a wee lad. I can't remeber much about it besides me getting a surgery.

Also, I have a cyst on my wrist (which I blame on Burnout Revenge) which I could get drained if I wanted, but I really don't want to. :x

Anyway, your guys surgeries sound bad. I'm glad I've never had to go through that.

Only once, 6 years ago: I had a tooth out. The reason I needed surgery for this was that it was apparently lodged up inside my gum, for some reason. >_>

I just got my wisdom teeth out on Monday :) It isn't as bad as I've been hearing, I started eating regular food on Wednesday and the only real problem I have is that I'm always worried that the stitches are going to open up if I begin chewing normally. I haven't felt any pain so far either but that could be because they perscribed me a heck of a lot of pain killers and antibiotics.

I had Lasik. Aside from the pressure of the doohickey holding your eye open there was no pain at all. The worst part was having to tape plastic eye shields to my face to prevent myself from accidentally or subconsciously rubbing my eyes.

I haven't myself but a friend of mine had intestine surgery during which only his lower body was anesthetized so he could watch as the surgeons were messing with his bowel and he felt

"funny down there". and he described the whole thing as "exciting",GrassMudHorse

They put up a blue screen lol, there was no way he watched that

Only two major ops. The first was to insert a heart recording reveal stick into my chest, the second was to remove it. :)

I had an intestinal reconstruction, it was laparascopic so they only had to cut me open the size of a keyhole , the epidural missed so the first three hours sucked, but then they brought me this awesome hallucinogen stuff:)

What happens when you're in an airport?

They normally use titanium which doesn't go off in the metal detectors at airports.

I'm not so sure. My Dad has a cardiac defibrillator implanted in his chest, and he has to carry loads of documentation around in airports in case it sets the alarms off.

Yes, I've had surgery to remove ingrown toenails several times. Even though that sounds like minor surgery, it sucks. :?

Had two hernia surgeries. Getting my wisdom teeth yanked soon if that counts.

Well, I just assumed because I saw in a presentation on safe driving that they use titanium to fix your face. And the guy said it doesn't go off in airport security.
