Reveille. Only had two albums and I thought they were the best rap/rock/metal band ever. Especially their album "Bleed the Sky". I love every song on it.

Quarashi :cry: though they didn't really break-up-break-up, they sort of just all agreed it wasn't fun to make great music anymore :(

Yep, I found this band that I liked then not so long after I found out about them their tour bus fell off a 40 foot bridge, flipped 12 times and feel into water (killed the band).

I mostly listen to music from the 60's-80's so yeah almost all of them have broken up. :lol:

Oh, so many... It's hard being into oldies/classic rock. :P It also seems like whenever I get way into a modern artist/band, they've already broken up/died too. I recently got heavily into Elliott Smith, who's more modern than most of my other groups, but he died six years ago.

Blur. I wish Damon Albarn would get them back together for a new album rather than do side projects like Gorillaz, and the good the bad and the queen. I know they did that tour in england, but that is not good enough:evil: Blur were one of the best bands of the 90s and better than Oasis in every way.

This is one. Basically at 32 years old lots of bands I liked have broken up.

I have a feeling My Chemical Romance will break up sometime after this new album comes out since all of them got marryed around the same time, and a few of them have kids now,

Phil and Rex are members are in the band Down, and Pantera is a good band. As for me, I'll say Pink Floyd, Queen, American Head Charge, Soundgarden, Audioslave, Led Zeppelin, Velvet Revolver, and to name a few...

I did not say pantera was not good. I was saying why they broke up. And yeah phil works with rex but DD and vbinnie paul would not.

I like plenty of bands that broke up, but since I'm to lazy to make a list I'll just talk about one band that broke up recenlty that dissapointed me.

Animosity broke up, and it sucks, they were one of the only death core bands with great music, and they didn't have excessive breakdowns in any of their songs.

i listen to pantera for their kickass sound, the artist's personalities are generally the last thing i look at in a band

Led Zeppelin. They would still be making music today, but I agree that it wouldn't be the same without Bonham.

i listen to pantera for their kickass sound, the artist's personalities are generally the last thing i look at in a band

I agree,but without the personalities they could still be nasy.
