But it's still the same old ****. They're both freaking millionaires, and they're talking about understanding the middle class. Politicians will never change, the color of your skin or your gender doesn't mean you'll be different from every other president we've had.

People only oppose Obama because they don't like women and people only oppose Hillary because they don't like black people.

try saying that again

And it would be so revolutionary because many years ago blacks and women were treated to be inadequate to white men.

The only revolution is that it's never been done before and it would be a historic moment. However the idea that the country would completely change forever, is pretty much not gonna happen.

Many years ago Christians were being fed to lions for entertainment. Nobody makes a big deal when they're elected for president.:?

I think it would do america alot've good to have their first ever black president but lets face it, america is just not ready for a black president just yet whether they actually admit to it or not.

It will always be the rich that governs. This a critical flaw in liberal/capitalistic democracies...

America is centuries away from anything revolutionary. That's a bad word, it means communism and violent natives. Even if they do intend to effect "change" (Obama especially) they probably wouldn't be able to.

oppose - be against; express opposition to

So that be like me saying "I don't support Obama, because I don't like women" or "I don't support Hiliary because I don't like blacks"

And even after your grammatical mistakes, thats a false statement. I don't support either of them, because they support big government, spending money we don't have, and collecting taxes. Not because they are black, or a woman.

I'd say the UK isn't as rigid an oligarchy as the US.

I'd agree...

I Blame it partially on the idiotic "candidate" system.

You can be a millionaire and middle class. Upper classes are generally people with Lord/Ladyships and things like that, but can be in fact quite poor.

Indeed, I'm also glad that in Britain there's been so much scrutiny over who's funding politicians.

Not revolutionary, but historical. It shows that America is open for people of all races and genders to have power.

I wouldn't say so anymore. America doesn't even have a royal aristocracy. And Britain's is basically obselete now anyway. Cash dictates class nowadays imo.

Well I'm Canadian but lets assume I'm American...

I could honestly care less about race/gender. I want Obama to win or even Hilary because I hate Republicans. Personally I'm not crazy about Democrats but as long as a more liberally-minded politician wins the White House, I think the world would be a better place.

True. But I think we're just seeing the disappearance of the upper-class, with it being replaced by the upper-middle-class.
