The explanations for a natural phenomena are not "fact." The phenomena itself can be fact; yes there probably is blood pumping through your body, that's the natural phenomena. The explanation is what cannot be considered a fact.

By that logic, that the Earth is flat would've been considered a fact, yet it's wrong. For generations, people believed that the Earth was flat, they believed that anybody who said otherwise was crazy. That's what that mindset tries to avoid or counter. Preventing loyalty to a belief makes it much easier to change minds and share ideas.

Theories DO NOT become facts(you implied that it is "still a theory" like if it can go even further). There is a theory of magnetism. There is a gravitational theory. These theories explain facts. How do you prove an explanation? I don't think you can. People in the future will not call it "gravitational fact" for example. So even if it is 100% correct, it is still called a theory.

The irony of this thread is that some Christians responded without even looking at the video which was completely different than what they thought. These particular Christians are the reasons we generalize all of them.
