Kids would rule the world then, they REALLY believe so many stuff... that's an interesting theory that can be proved wrong quite fast.

Think of it this way, If everyone in the world thought 2+2=5 tomorrow, and you were the only one who believed that 2+2=4, you would be branded as insane. So if you get shot with a nuke, and i say that you lived and died of unrelated causes and most of the people on earth believed me, than it really happend.

Youre_Name_Cant_Be_Quoted

that is a terrible example. numbers are an abstract symbol to represent something. but when someone dies in a nuclear blast, someone dies in a nuclear blast.

There is a difference between belief and reality.

Can you tell me exactly where this line lies?

If i shoot you in the head and it enters and exits the brain you can believe you will live, for about 1 minute, be fore you undoubtly die. If i'm convinced that 2+4=876, that is belief but the former is reality and truth.

Are you shure I died? Though I may be dead physically, if someone erases all records of my existance, then i never existed and therefore, never died. This has happend in Tianamen Square, where they falsified records and people truely believed that no one died, all statements saying that they did happen, were retracted, no one could prove it, so technically no one died. The line between reality and truth can be blurred.

but the fact is the people BELIEVED know one died, that does not mean that person or persons in question did not die,it just means poeple don't know they died.

again, thats just brainwashing, not altering reality

Argument falls apart right there. I disagree with your statement of "reality and truth can be blurred," they are one in the same. I would agree with the statement of "belief (we believed that nobody died, but reality is contradictory) can blur our view on reality"

Reality is anything that can be observed in an objective manner.

Reality is anything that can be observed in an objective manner.

So basically reality is nothing more than an observation? And most of the time it is not even our observation, but our observations of other peoples observations. If you stepped outside and saw a six-legged unicorn and then it disapeared seconds later, you alone saw it and touched it. Did that unicorn exist? In your "reality" it did, but to everyone else, your insane. So if there could be multiple realitie, whose to say where the limits exist on each one?

I apologize, I omitted a crucial fact, an objective observation that can be verified through scientific evidence. That six legged unicorn isn't real because there is no scientifically verifiable (note the emphasis on verifiable) evidence that it doesn't exist.

Why there is a magnetic field around Mercury ? It makes no sense at all! But yet, it's there. It's impossible to have a magnetic field there, there's nothing to generate it.

Etherninty

Why doesn't it make sense? Isn't Mercury mostly iron and nickle, magnetic metals? I actually don't know, just guessing.
