thats my goal today. help me achieve it. what are some ways to fall asleep quickly? note: i have no xanax pills, tylenol p.m., or booze. actually i got wine, but i don't wanna wake up with a hang over.

Damn. Well, it may take a while for you to get adjusted to sleeping earlier - but try to force yourself to go to sleep earlier. You might not like it at first, but after a while you'll just get used to it and you'll be ok with going to bed early.

I do, usually doing just random things like talking with friends, playing video games, or listening to music. Recently I've had problems sleeping as well...but that's probably due to the LAN party last week. :P

Pull an all nighter... I did it a few days ago and its really hard if you don't eat a lot or drink enough, but it will work if your crazy....

Listen to some calming music and just close your eyes. Reading a book in bed can also knock ya right out.

Also, when your in bed, try laying on your side, with one arm under you. Cutting of your circulation a bit slows your heart rate enough to help you get to sleep very easily. I usually try to do that every night. If you can't get the right position, try laying on your back with your hands behind your head like your relaxing. You'll fall asleep without even knowing it. But then you'll wake up later and not be able to feel your arms, which isn't really that bad.

doesnt matter what time you go to sleep tonite, make sure you wake up at 9:00 or 8:30 in the morning. set your alarm and when you wake up stay awake the whole day no matter what, no naps at all. drink coffee. by the end of the day youll be too tired to stay up and you can readjust to another sleep pattern. thats what i did

Go to the store tomorrow and buy some Ibuprofen PM. Take some of them at about 9:00 p.m. It doesn't make you completely sleepy, but it will help you fallasleep around midnight if you want to.

Go out and do some manual labor, work out, do something physically demanding and you should be tired enough to go to sleep early.

He had a really ruff life dealing with alcoholism/diabetes/insomnia im just glad he has passed on and is rid of those terrible conditions

I go to bed like 2 AM but use my PSP till 5-6 AM. The only thing I recommend is waking up earlier even if your tired, than you can fall asleep earlier.

Hm, can't help you with that. I sleep around 3:30-4 AM on summer/holidays. Wake up around 1-1:30 PM. So, in the summer/holidays, there is no morning for me.

heres what i do. for the whole summer i used to stay up till like 4-5am and sleep till like 2pm:P

now that school starts up soon(next thursday for me:() i still stayed up late but then set my alarm and woke up at 6am. i guarantee after a couple days of doing that, youll be getting to sleep before 3am

Just stay up later until your body clock is adjusted. Just like you would with jetlag.

Have a shower and quickly change into what ever you sleep in when going to bed and before all the warmth of the shower has warm off jump into your warm bed andfall asleep.
