I don't know about you, but it just isn't funny anymore. Old episodes actually had a perpose and a funny story. Now, it seems as if all it is, is flash backs! This show has used the same topic almost 100 times and it just isn't funny anymore. It seems that pretty soon, the characters are going to start talking about the one time that they talked about that one time. I just find it incredibly stupid now. I have to say that any episodes before 2007 were funny, but now they suck.

Anyone agree?

I only watched a couple of episodes and they were allright, I don't watch it that often but I watched one of thenew episodes and It had these jokes i heard so many times.

The first series was funny way back when, but after that it just got old. It died at the turn of the century.

Ya, I agree. Some of the older episodes were pretty funny, but you're right, way too many flashbacks.

Its funny, but most of the jokes are irrelevant to the plot, making it kinda stupid.

I dont agree I really like some of their recent episodes....... when they made fun of the primaries, and "the Debarted", those were right on! I agree, I use to like Family Guy but now its all slapstick and potty humor.... too much of it, where is the smartness?..... I sometimes dont find it.

I dont have Sky, or whatever you call the thing where you have a box that gives you hundreds of channels over there. And i live in England so i rarely see newer episodes of Simpsons or Family Guy, im always about 3-4 seasons behind :( But i guess that means i dont get the problem with new episodes getting worse.

I reckon the show is still pretty funny, I enjoy it as much as I enjoy South Park. Now Simpson, that show has gone downhill.

I think the new episodes are better than the old ones. I'll take South Park over Family Guy any day though.

I agree completely, family guy after 2007 has be pretty crappy compared to their earlier seasons like 1, 2, and 3, back when there was actually a PLOT. don't get me wrong some of the flash backs are hilarious but now it seems like every 3 seconds you know exactly what's coming. Bring back the days when they made stewie funny, bring back the days when there was a plot, bring back the days where you could watch family guy and not have to hear "like that one time".

Family Guy is funny, but not so much for the new episodes. I watched season one and two again this week, and noticed the huge quality difference. They were excellent because of how most of the episodes focused on the plot and had a few flashbacks and some well written jokes. Those were the good old days! Last new episode I really liked was the 2 parter Stewie/Lois episode for these reasons.

honestly i wouldnt say family guy is funny or not funny. every other or 1/3 episodes will get a laugh outta me but thats just me.. we cant speak for everybody and it depends on what your into.. if your one of those people that laugh at anything then this might be funny to you.. if you dont laugh at family guy then honestly i dont really blame you. its not that funny but it does have its "moments of glory".

Agreed. It does seem like the only way they can get jokes is by having flashbacks.

It is funny in spots, but I think they sometimes overdo the potty and violent humor. I still watch the new episodes when they air, but I after watching I usually think that they could of been funnier.

i don't think it's funny at all. the closest i ever come to laughing at family guy is a mild smirk or giggle. but i never actually laugh. it's bassically just a more provocative version of the simpsons.
