Family Guy's really hit and miss. Simpsons after the millenium has been a complete insult to all the previous fans, but I'd agree that the latest season has been less terrible. South Park is the best at the moment, and has pretty much recovered from the slight drop in quality from the end of season 10 to the second half of season 11.
I'm personally glad they didn't make "imaginationland" into a film, because, although still brilliant, it just cannot compare to the first film, and might have been judged harshly because of it.

Family Guy is alright, never got into the Simpsons. Love Futurama, though, and South Park is epic. I'll watch the Simpsons when there is nothing on TV, which isn't often.
South Park & Futurama > Every show you can name.
...well...add Scrubs in there, too.
South Park & Futurama & Scrubs > Every show, period.
I feel like Season 12 so far is total crap.South Park is the best at the moment, and has pretty much recovered from the slight drop in quality from the end of season 10 to the second half of season 11.

They repeated the same "How do I reach these kids?" joke 10 times in the last episode and Mr./Miss/G**/L*sbo Garrison is getting annoying.

Dude, have you seen anything before Season 12? Like most South Park episodes? They do it on purpose -- repeat things, and such. :P

I'll agree that the whole Mr/Mrs Garrison thing is getting annoying, and the "How do I reach these kids?" joke grew old fast, but the rest of the episode was great. The first 3 episodes did feel different, but the other two, IMO, are classic South Park.

the office is epic dry humor! EPIC!
I don't know about you, but it just isn't funny anymore. Old episodes actually had a perpose and a funny story. Now, it seems as if all it is, is flash backs! This show has used the same topic almost 100 times and it just isn't funny anymore. It seems that pretty soon, the characters are going to start talking about the one time that they talked about that one time. I just find it incredibly stupid now. I have to say that any episodes before 2007 were funny, but now they suck.
Anyone agree?

I don't think you have ever watched Family Guy. It is the show's irrevelance that makes it so hilarious. Try to put their ridiculous acts in context (an impossible feat) and you will just laugh at how random his flash backs are. Or so I do. :P

And no, they don't repeat the joke 10 times. Name one episode they've done that in, where the joke is said ten times.

And no, they don't repeat the joke 10 times in any other episode. The only episode that came close to the same repetition is the "HIV positive" one. Name one other episode they've done that in, where the joke is said ten times.

family guy had purpose!? Are u insane!? family guy (FG) has always been the most retarded show on TV. As far as FG is concerned, a good joke is making reference to a completely random and irrelevant event all the while while drunkedly trying to mantain an uncohesive story that makes NinjaGaiden look like Lord of the Rings. In short, it is the most braindead cartoon I have ever seen making 2 stupid dogs feel like Ghost in a Shell. I think that episode of South Park where FG wants to display an image of mohammed cleary explains how retarded the show is.
Simpsons: there hasn't been any good episodes since like, the 11th season. and even the simpsons movie didnt get anywhere near as funny as the old school episodes, though it did have its humourous moments.
Family Guy originaly funny, went downhill, though I had hope for it after Blue Harvest (Which made me nearly wet my pants at times) but then it was back to abillion flashbacks and no plot.
I dont have Sky, or whatever you call the thing where you have a box that gives you hundreds of channels over there. And i live in England so i rarely see newer episodes of Simpsons or Family Guy, im always about 3-4 seasons behind :( But i guess that means i dont get the problem with new episodes getting worse.rb2610
Dude, brand new Family Guy is on BBC3 practically every single night. :?
