Family Guy or The Simpsons?

I had a teacher claim that the Simpsons is way better, becuase a lot of the jokes are geared toward adults and Family Guy is all "Potty Humor". At that time I hadn't really watched either one very much, now almost a year later, I have watched quite a bit of both and I must say that I think he is dead wrong. I don't doubt the Simpsons are allegories a lot, but their jokes are nowhere near as funny, and I don't consider all FG's jokes a potty humor, some are, maybe a few more that the Simpsons, but FAR from all.

Also I don't think the Simpsons ever wrap up their shows as well, they just end. And don't say FG is just a copy, because the best part of FG is Stewie who the Simpsons have no equivalent to.

I say FG, The Simpson's guys should've stuck with Futurama, which is a far better show. What order do you put them in?

I enjoy the older Family Guy episodes alot, but even those weren't a pimple-on-the-butt of the awesomeness that is the original Simpsons.

Although I highly enjoy family guy, it has never made me laugh really hard, while Simpsons Seasons 4-8 can make me laugh with their smart humor even after I've seen the episode a few times.

(We need a poll XD) As much as the simpsons jokes arent as funny as FG's Im going with the Simpsons mostly because I've grown into it more than FG. I dunno I just like the Simpsons more =)
