Family Guy, time to put it down?

The political stuff goes right over a lot of peoples heads since I'm pretty sure that a lot of Family Guys audience is under 21. When they reference politics or some mediocore actor or something like that, my mind shuts off. Im 18, I dont care about that kind of stuff. Show me something funny. Not something thats just funny to 10% of your viewing audience.

The newest episode wasnt bad i laughed, haven't laughed at an episode of the simpsons in 11 years though..FrostyPhantasm

I still like Simpsons and will still watch that, but family Guy is just terrible now. Ugh...

It's decent IMO. I don't watch it much, but it's good for an occasional laugh. I just HATE it when people constantly quote lines from the show.

While I haven't bothered watching Family Guy in the last 6 or 7 years and never thought that it was any better than "decent" (even before cancellation), I've gotta disagree with you here.

If you shut off your mind as soon as you get shown something that you don't care about, that's not really reflective of the show's quality or lack thereof. You say "show me something funny", but maybe you WOULD find it funny if it didn't "go over your head" and you didn't "shut your brain off".

I dislike the amount of manatee jokes in Family Guy and the complete lack of story structure.

It can be very stupid at times, but it's not time to put it down yet.

Yeah it needs to end now.. Agreed to what was said earlier too, though i truely loved Simpsons it needs to go to. No where near the old quality stuff.

as long as the simpsons are still on, then no, family guy is not near ready to go.

seriously the simpsons should have been taken off years ago, and I'm not very critical of shows either but the characters just aren't funny anymore.

I still find it funny as heck. I agree, with the fact that they made Peter too stupid. In seasons 1-3 he could be clueless, but he wasn't blatantly dumb all the time. I find the Meg jokes funny still, I've always hated Chris, Lois is a bit more entertaining now. I like Stewie and Brian better now, thought they were pretty boring in seasons 1-3.

Get rid of the Cleavland Show and American Dad, both are terrible.

I find it hillarious that Stewie is gay I wasn't too fond of evil Stewie.

If my girlfriend didn't love it so much I wouldn't even bother watching it. Peter is just a dumb annoying douche and every joke with Stewie is him being borderline homosexual. Storyline that never makes sense pushed along with randomly appearing unoriginal and sterotypical jokes. I laugh here and there but don't get why it's so popular.

I don't think new Family Guy is awful, but yeah its seen better days, same with The Simpsons. South Park seems to be the only consistent one, I even think it may have got better with time....

they should cancel it.
