I was in the mood for a burger so I went to Wendy's. I get open, turn on the TV, ready to eat my nice burger from Wendy's and theirs a damn chicken sandwich inside. How damn dumb are these people? I say it perfectly clear so their little minds can comprehend me and they always get the order wrong. If there was some way to determine the percentage of people who got the wrong order at a fast food drive thru I swear it would be well over 60%. fast food generally messes up alot more than anywhere in my own experience. i only order burgers with meat and bread and youd be surprised how often that gets messed up

They each go through thousands of orders everyday; a mistake here and there is to be expected. You're actually somewhat responsible for it since you didn't bother to check your order before you left.

You know that each order has to be made in a certain amount of time and that employees get marked down if they don't make the food in the time limit. I think for McDonalds if you mess up like that 10 times and your fired.

The time required for each burger was 30 seconds I believe. 1 minute for the full order. To think, you wonder why they rush your food and either mess it up/confuse it with another order?

Not to mention customers at fast food restaurants are complete jerks. They try to mentally break down the cashier just to get a discount or a free burger.

I work at Domino's Pizza myself and I have to make each pizza in approximately 90-120 seconds. The customers are such jerks there too, they'll even lie and damage their own food so they can call you up, complain, get a free pizza, and get you into deep crap.

Do you know how badly they bust their arses? Are you that ignorant to make a statement like that? I used to work there and they deserve a lot more then they're paid... Most of these kids who work fast food are just High School students, trying to save some cash for a down payment on a car or a little savings for college. They're swamped with customers every day, and have to deal with the rudest most arrogant people you can imagine on a regular basis (yourself included).

i dont know if you have ever worked fast food but i currently do and you need to chill first off yes people get orders wrong from time to time but its a very difficult job because people hassle you all the time and whats more ive seen people be nicer to car machanics and doctors when they do the job wrong but god forbid we give someone five pieces of chicken when they should get six because you will get b****** at nearly every time

I'd say on average, 25% of my fast food orders are incorrect. I'm always missing something or I get switched orders or something.

EDIT: And having to return the order is retarded. You guys might act like it's easy, but it's not as easy if you're in a hurry going through the drive-thru. And then if you do bother returning it, they'll act like complete **** They are always like "wait...what's wrong with it" and look at me like I'm insane, despite me clearly saying what the problem is.

As a Wendy's employee, I can safely say that customers are making me lose faith in hummanity. I don't think people realize just how dumb they are. There are people who make getting your order taken seem like freaking rocket science, aksnd I have dealt with people who were bad enough that were actually denied them services because they were complete jer and tried talking down to and yelling at us.

We screw up, yes, but so do you from time to time. We deal with hundreds, possibly thousands of orders for all you lazy asses who can't make yourself a meal and then we get people like you trying to treat us as if we are retarded. Seriously, every day I come across people like you TC who just make me want to punch them in the face. We get idiots taking calls on their cell phones while ordering or even on occasion making us WAIT to take their order so they can freaking call someone. We also get people coming through smoking cigarretes, so I get a nice dose of lung damage every day I work, not to mention the exhaust from some of the cars.
