fav superhero?

like the title says who?and what reason?

i chose batman.i like that he uses knowledge and like 10 different types of fighting styles to fight his villians doesnt need superpoweres. and his villians are all unique and insane,like he got his back broken by bane and managed to defeat him.

My ex girl friend used to call me incredible HULK. But yeah the Hulk is the best superhero hands down.

Always thought he was a hell of a cool character.

Spider-Man. He's my childhood hero. :D

Spider-Man. Unlike other heroes, he's fallible and his human side is more like him. Other heroes don't even seem to have any sort of issues. Clark Kent's super speed means he pretty much has no issue saving people in between working (or even during), Batman practically does nothing aside from the occasional meeting (along with his billions of dollars). Spider-Man is young and relateable, he dates, has friends, has a crush, has college and his job and money troubles, etc.

He's also probably the most selfless from what I've seen. Batman has this dark side to him and his morals sometimes conflict with reality, while Captain America and Iron Man have no problem with killing bad guys or the greater good over individual selflessness. Peter would sacrifice himself and his happiness to save others and has done so, also not an issue for the super high powered heroes that don't have much in the way of family and friends to protect or issues with their own vulnerabilities.

not sure,i just know that i hate superman.

I think this appropriately gives me the stage to ask for some direction. Batman has always been the only DC character I had interest in, but I'd like to make the effort to get into the other characters of the universe, specifically Green Lantern and Wonder Woman.

Where's a good place to start?

I'm not big into Wonder Woman, so I'll give you some Green Lantern advice.

For GL you'll want to start with Green Lantern: Rebirth, then Green Lantern: No Fear, Green Lantern: Revenge of the Green Lanterns, Green Lantern: Wanted- Hal Jordan, Green Lantern: The Sinestro Corps War vol. 1, Green Lantern: The Sinestro Corps War vol. 2, Green Lantern: Rage of the Red Lanterns, Green Lantern: Agent Orange, Green Lantern: Blackest Night and Blackest Night, Green Lantern: Brightest Day, and last but not least Green Lantern: War of the Green Lanterns.

Follow that list, and you'll be completely set up for the main Green Lantern title.

Spider-Man is definitely my fav. Collecting comic books back in the day I started with The Amazing Spider-Man, Spectacular Spider-Man, Web of Spider-Man and any other comic book that featuredSpider-Man simply because he has awesome abilities, a great sense of humor while he kicks villianous butt, and the awesome cast of characters, great stories and the cool villians. Definitely enjoyed the Sinister Six stuff as well as when Spider-Man had those cosmic powers gained from Captain Universe (good stuff).

big reason i like them.

Batman, Iron Man, Moon-Knight, and Captain America each have something that makes them super, but in essence i see a bit more going within their psyche.

Moon-Knight actually has personality disorder and falls apart at times while doing his duty for his God. Iron Man is a drunken pain-killer abusing narcissest who is also an master engineer and suave with the women. Captain America i love because he is a fish out of water, he is literally taken out of the 40's and dropped in modern times, and seeing him trying to adjust the modern world and sticking to his principles is pretty neat.

Daredevil and Spider-Man are more or less on in the same to me, but i still find their stories very interesting.

but by far and away my favorites are still Batman and Iron Man. yes for all the reasons people say on here. From the cool gadgets and no innate physical super powers. Master tacticition, and yes even their psychological crutch's as well.
