[QUOTE="DivergeUnify"] In Absentia> Deadwing> Lightbulb Sun>>> Fear of a Blank Planet

DivergeUnify

No love for Fear of a Blank Planet?

Felt too metal. Too straight forward and had terrible lyrics imo.

I thought Deadwing and In Absentia were heavier than FoaBP. The lyrics were kinda dumb I agree, but I don't listen to music for the lyrics.

Guppy507

They may have had heavier riffs, but also sounded much more diverse.

[QUOTE="St_JimmyX"]Necrophagist - EpitaphSaturos3091
After hearing Onset of Putrefaction I wasn't too thrilled with Epitaph. It was still a good album though.

I prefer Epitaph, probably because I listened to it first. They're both great though.

Guero, The Information and Modern Guilt by Beck. Everything released by The Shins. Antics by Interpol. And not a lot else.

They were more diverse, but My Ashes and Way Out Of Here are just amazing songs, and make the album amazing.

I haven't heard Botch, but "We Are the Romans" is an extremely well acclaimed album by them.
