  Berserk is one series any one should enjoy thats into medieval era stuff..

As for favourite anime? Chobits, Fruits Basket, Azumanga Daioh, Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya, Honey and Clover, Onegai Sensei, Ranma... there's probably more, I'm bored now =P
