Duran Duran is my favourite band of the 80's.

I would've said a-ha, but I only love the stuff they did in the 00's as opposed to the stuff in the 80's (which was pretty bad).

nice! I seen Celtic Frost live in Hollywood at the House of Blues. :) They were awesome.

I'm pretty sure it was in early / mid 2007. My friend actually knows the band members and he got us in for free. ;) I got to meet Thomas Gabriel Fischer before we even got in. I didn't get a shirt; I spent my money on beer instead. :cry:

OMG Bolt Thrower, I forgot all about those guys. I actually came REALLY close to buying Warmaster but backed down due to a lack of funds.

Me, the humble cIassic rock listener, says Scorpions and Def Leppard.

Those are the two bands I listen frequently from that decade (although Scopions were formed in the 70's [69 to be precise but their first album was released in 1972] their popular stuff belongs to the 80's: No One Like You, Rock You Like a Hurricane, Still Loving You, Blackout, The Zoo etc etc).

A really underrated 80s band who only had one hit from what I know is Wall of Voodoo. They have done many good albums.
