Casino Royale is the best Bond film..

Not even close >_>.

The best two are by far Goldfinger and The Man with the Golden Gun.

Well, they are our opinions. Goldeneye was awful, along with every Pierce Brosnan Bond film.

Casino Royale and QoS feel like they took Jason Bourne and put him in an alternate universe where he was named James Bond and remembered his identity >_>.

Maybe that's more like the books. That said, I think there's a bit of a precedent for the James Bond character after 20 movies...

But, whatever, I'd love to stay and argue, but I have to go to my Analysis class (math ftw! :P).

For me it's... Daniel Craig, followed by Connery with Brosnan coming in last after all the other guys who played Bond.

I like Daniel Craig the most because he's more of a darker, modern kind of Bond. He improvises more than relying on out-of-this-world gadgets. Overall just a more believable spy.

Raikoh_

Sean Connery, Moore, Craig. My favorite was Sean Connery because he was a more sarcastic one liner Bond which kind of showed he had a funny and serious side. Also Timothy Dalton wasn't bad, most people seem to forget him.

Oh come on The Man with the Golden Gun was awful, how can you say that Daniel Craig is not James Bond when your defending a movie where bond fights ninjas and defeats a sumo wresler by giving him a massive wedgie

That being said, Christopher Lee was amazing in that movie and was easily one of the best bond villians of all time.

Sean Connery, everyone else after him was just an impersonator. He was so good after he quit being bond they asked him to come back and be bond again. And he did! And he made diamonds are forevor which is awesome. As is Goldfinger and Thunderball.

Casino Royale was amazing, QoS was utter crap, seriously what happened, it was insulting to watch because its so mediocre But yeah, in reality, the only good Bond has only been Sean Connery, the rest have either been entertaining (due to good films or humour a la Roger Moore), fit physical descriptions, bought something new or closely mimicked the character described in the books.

Casino Royale suffers from the lack of a cool villain, the lack of a cool evil plan, a Bond lacking any suave, 30+ minutes of Texas Hold 'Em, a lack of any cool gadgets, a lack of any corny one-liners, a lack of the James Bond character, etc. I mean, come on. It decided to have the villain try to make money to fund terrorists by... guess what?... playing ******* poker. Yeah, that's cool all right, especially when you compare it to invading Fort Knox to detonate a bomb to make all the gold radioactive.

Daniel Craig`s prerformance in Casino Royale was mind-blowing. Quantum of Solace was poorly written, poory directed and was just plain Bourne.

Well, Connery of course. Also, Brosnan for me (leave his Mama Mia career out of his old Bond career). I saw part of Craig and I was disappointed by this: Bond: Vodka Martini Bartender: Shaken or Stirred? Bond: Do I look like I give a damn? [drops mouth like Nostalgia critc when he heard Macaulay Culkin say ****]

But thats whats so great about it, it cut all the stupid gimicks in favor of a down to earth and emotional plot.

Thank god the got rid of the one-liners remeber die another day?

Bond: I miss your sparkling personality

Zao: (hits him) "Hows that for a punch line?"

Or my personal fave

Zao: "Who sent you?"

Jinx: "Yo Mamma"

Casino royal was the first James Bond book ever and the movie (particularly the card game) is very closly adaptated. Daniel Craig plays bond the way he was meant to be played, a flawed man, not a superhero fighting a giant snake or flying around in space shooting lazer beams, the bond your talking about is a twisted self pardody.

Timothy Dalton, I dont get why everyone hates him. He was the most accurate bond, he was what bond what meant to be. Dalton actually studied the books and became the character. He is what Daniel Craig is now, which is ironic considering that Dalton was hated for being different and more brutal and cold, yet Daniel Craig is praised for it. Sean Connery is awesome too though, he and Dalton are tied.

I dunno. Pierce Brosnan had all the attributes of the other Bonds. Connery was good too.
