So OT what is your favorite Genre of music?? Mine would have to be Rock.

Classic Rock is basically all I listen to, although I have listened to some stuff all the way up to the late '90's.

Well, I've got some Slowdive playing right now, and I've been listening to My Bloody valentine as well. Got any recommendations?

I like all kinds of music (except for metal and dubstep, though I've been reccomended a good melodic metal song occasionally; I also think country these days is pretty lackluster), but my favorite genres are theatre music, classic rock, the more substantial varieties of hip hop, 60s/70s/80s pop, and R&B, especially Motown and new jack swing. I do like more alternative genres as well, but I find that most of the songs I consider timeless come from the genres I listed.
I don't really judge by genre though. I tend to judge individual songs, but for some genres, I find it hard to find something I like, like dubstep.
Mumford and SonsmindstormI'd never heard of them before I saw them on the TV during Glastonbury. They put on a great show, I loved all the songs they played.

Oh yes, I am absolutely in love with their song The Cave ... as well as the rest of their music.
