Well, if that's what you're into.judging from my ipod and top radio stations I'd have to say pretty much a bit of everything, or whatever sounds good. Some noticable standouts I have in my library include going from Les Miserables to Frank Sinatra to Kate Bush to Epica to Birdeatsbaby to Sleeping with Sirens to Silversun Pickups to Ke$ha to Sonata Arctica to Jimmie Dale Gilmore to Imelda May to Tori Amos and then to Moloko.
I guess if I had to pick 1 genre it would be symphonic/power metal, but really, there are times when I don't listen to it for days, so it's all over the place.
Probably the most stable of my listening has been Classical music (mostly classical and minimalism). I've loved black metal the past few years though, and of course, I have a soft spot for 90s alternative since I grew up with it:P
Black metal.
Really, the more qualifiers, the better.
Like, New Prog-Alternative-Industrial-Blackjazz.

Like, rhythmically and melodically complex rock.
Think if "Crow left of the Murder" by Incubus included a lot of starting and stopping.

a close tie between classic rock and blues, especially early blues artists like Robert Johnson, Muddy Waters, Big Bill Broonzy and Son House.
