Favorite lesser known bands?

the strokes?? there not the biggest band ever but most everybody knows about them. i would say mars volta. MUSICAL GENIUSES if roger waters and david gilmour did crack theyd make that kind of music

The Mars Volta Is Huge too

That doesn't make them any less amazing.

I really like Does It Offend You, Yeah?, but they've been getting a lot of attention since being on the NME tour. Ghostland Observatory is good. I'm sure people know about them, but you usually don't hear anything about them. Bands like Octopus Project and Black Moth Super Rainbow (I'm not making that up) are good.

I'm suprised Cerrucite isn't in here to critcize everybody's music yet.

Some of my faves that arent popular are: Skillet, Thousand Foot Krutch, Demon hunter, and Underoath. I know they are all Christians bands, but IMO most people can relate to thier music, they are for much more than christians.
