In Flames, Killswitch Engage, Trivium, Parkway Drive, Machine Head, System of a Down, Avenged Sevenfold.

God, all the death metal and black metal...*shudders*I don't know how you can listen to a band without a proper singer and "drums" that are just wailing on double-kick bass...no offense intended. XD But anyways, I like Metallica, Pantera and Megadeth, maybe a little Godsmack too, but I'm not really into new stuff...=P

Okay,these are not defined by subgenre to me,just metal.

White Zombie,Megadeth,Children of Bodom,From autumn to Ashes,Lamb of God,Megadeth(excluding the period between countdown and the system has failed) Old in flames,old Sepultera,old Fear Factory,Godflesh,Dimmu Borgir,some cradle of filth.

Tons of others,but that is off the top of my head as always,and i am pretty genre free in my tastes.

Dragonland Is a Great band! I haven't met many people who like them also.
