I can't decide between Star Trek, District 9 and Avatar... I would have to say Avatar.

My favorite film of the year is "The Hurt Locker" and "Avatar" is a close second, but I haven't seen "Up In The Air" yet so that might become my #2 film of the year because nothing can top "The Hurt Locker"

There were a lot of excellent movies this year. I think my favorite is a tie between Up and Star Trek; both were fantastic.

So far, probably Star Trek, was greatly surprised at how good it was. Looking forward to District 9.

Watchman? that was ok, Up was great for being a kids movie, avatar was great with all the effects and storyline, but mine hands down is

(500) Days Of Summer, yeah my sig, but it was probably the best indie film with great actors that aren't famous, the hurt locker was good, bring drama to a war we can all connect to, but (500) Days Of Summer...

Hangover was good, but it could of done better

I really liked Up and Avatar. I went into Avatar not knowing anything about it and was really entertained despite the fact that it was so fricken long.

District 9, and Avatar is close behind.

I guess I'm in the minority here where I really didn't like Inglourious Basterds. I'd actually say it was probably the worse movie I've seen this year. Yes, below Transformers 2.

Avatar, followed by District 9. If Avatar wasn't in 3d, District 9 would have won it for me. But man, Avatar sure looks amazing...

It seems GameSpot users are quite fond of Avatar and District 9. I applaud all of you who chose those for your top 2 :D
