Favorite Resident Evil Movie?

Honestly, as a fan of the residen evil games, I gotta' say that every movie has been a bit of a disappointment to me, and as such, it's hard for me to find a favourite, since it's a question of "least worse" in my case.BiancaDK

When it comes to Resident Evil fiction outside the game.. Really the only good recreations were the books, namely the ones based on the first and second games. Outside of that there is really nothing of note worth mentioning inless your really desperate for something that is even remotely related to the video game series.

Resident Evil Degeneration is definitely the best,awesome in my opinion.

Doesn't make any sense for me to compartmentalize the two, since it'll be "subpar resident evil movie" versus "subpar random zombie flick".

Resident Evil Degeneration is definitely the best,awesome in my opinion.

Couldn't agree more.

Out of the live action movies, the first is the best followed by the second, then the third and the fourth is the worst...

How so? It wasn't creepy, it had little to no story.. And turned into a glorified action movie.. In fact this seems to be a HUGE sickness of much of Japanese movies that make one based off a series or video game... In which weak story, and characters are put together.. Just as a excuse so we can see our favorite video game/series characters fight one another again.. Final Fantasy Advent Children was a classic example of this in which a extremely shallow story was strung up together just to get the protagonist and antagonist of the series to fight again..

Thats not saying much seeing as the live action movies are seen mediocre to garbage by most.. There hasn't been a good media outlet that has done the Resident Evil series justice except for some of the novels based off the games.

Knowing Capcom right now, there is a high chance it isn't :x

While I think that the first one may have realistically been the best and I liked it, I find that I like the second one the best only because it was more like the game and also because it was more like a traditional zombie movie where the zombies are more out in the open in a city environment. I like seeing the chaos rather than it be in a laboratory, enlosed environment.

First movie for sure, followed by the first 20 minutes of the second movie.

I Liked the 2nd one the best, since it was closest (if you could say that) to the games
