Which movie with Seth Rogen is your favorite? Mine is Pineapple Express.

40 Year Old Virgin was the only one I thought was funny.
Pineapple Express was okay...had a hard time making it through Superbad...I turned off Knocked Up.
I thought observe and report was pretty funny. I really don't like him as an actor though, I don't think he's all that funny.
The greatness of these movies has nothing to do with Seth Rogen's homogenous acting. We all know he plays the same character in all his movies - the bumbling but lovable stoner - but the movies benefit from great writing and good jokes in the vein of the great Kevin Smith. Seth Rogen's lack of variety in his acting abilities reminds me of Will Ferrell.

A couple flaws with that point.
1. Rogen does a lot of the writing.
2. Most of the time it is improv. The script is used as a last resort.

...and it's his fault that he can only play one character, and since it's improv, it shows his lack of versatility.

I agree. I never said that he was a versatile actor. I just think he is funny as hell.
I loved Pineapple Express so that gets my vote. I find him to be very funny, and I love most of the movies he is in. I can't wait to see how The Green Hornet turns out with him and Stephen Chow. Where is Zack and Miri Make a Porno?

The Green Hornet is going to be great. That and this hockey comedy he wrote is going to come out next year. Zack and Miri is the only movie of his that I don't like.

Best thread ever TC.... I'm really conflicted with choices
I really love Observe and report but pineapple express comes second.
