Favorite Star-Trek Series?

So, I'm a Star-Trek fan and figure there must be more like me out there, especially among us gamers/nerds. Which Star-Trek series stands out as your fav, vote and commet as you see fit.

My opinion: TNG>Voyager>Enterprise>DS9>TOS

And some bonus questions, would you want to see them come back with another series, keep going witht he new movies or niether

I went to go see William Shatner in his Broadway production yesterday...I'm a huge fan of the original Star Trek.

For me it's a tossup between Star Trek: TOS and The Next Generation.

I have to say Voyager because thats what got me into star trek followed by maybe deep space nine. TNG was before my time really though so its harder me to appreciate it i guess.

The Original Series. Far more dramatic and the characters were head-and-shoulders above anything that would come after.

Honorable mention to season 3 of Enterprise though. I loved the season-long story arc.

I choose the middle three because they're all interconnected and occurred in the same time period.

Next Generation speaking of which

Deep Space 9

TNG by a mile.

In order;

1. TNG
2. Voyager
3. TOS
4. DS9
5. Enterprise

I'd like to see a new series but I think they would screw it up big time so I'd prefer them to stick with the movies for now.

TNG followed by DS9

TNG followed by original series. Haven't watched Voyager or all of DS9 yet.

it used to be Next Generation, until i watched all of Deep Space Nine.

DS9 is by far my favorite series, my second favorite is Next Generation.

TNG but just ahead of DS9.

DS9>TNG>TOS>VOY. Enterprise doesn't even show up on my radar, never happened, la-la-la-la-la! DS9 was just good. There was a point, maybe three or four seasons in, when something just really clicked and the episodes were among the best of all Trek. TNG didn't have the same focus in its storylines, but it had a better cast. The TOS I don't think is as good as either, but still classic. Voyager I have and will always defend. I can see why some people don't like it, it's not as good as any of the others, but I still think it gets too much criticism. Enterprise was horrible.

I honestly didn't think there would be that many DS9 fans. I've only seen a few episodes, should get around to watching more.

The first couple of seasons are pretty comprable to other Trek series, season three is IMO where it really starts to set itself apart. Of course if you're OCD about seeing every episode then you have to sit through a fair amount of episodes with a character that is, in my opinion, one of the most annoying and unfunny in all of Trek, the Grand Nagus, but despite these episodes it's still a great series.

TNG because it features Topics which never will grew old and will be discussed in even 100 years still like cloning, war, racism and so on.

And NOTHING can ever compare to the sheer epicness that Picard is.

Also from Season 3 and onward the series is just plain great in every way possible.

Also like Rikers unconventional way ofcommanding and how he manages to baffle everyone in that one episode where they do that test battle.

Eh, I think all of DS9's characters were good. Avery Brooks was constantly overacting, but other than that I really enjoyed DS9's cast. They're not as good as TNG's, but I don't think they're that bad. I mean come on, we're comparing them to Neelix and Tom Paris? DS9 wins that fight hands-down.

I think I like TNG the most, but VGR is almost neck and neck. I liked TOS and ENT and the final few seasons of DS9 (when the Dominion War broke out).

... I don't like Star Trek. Never appealed that much to me and neither has Star Wars.
