Is techno just like electronic?
Rock and Electronic together are probably my favorite.
Like Radiohead.
Radiohead is rock and techno?I dunno. They obviously were influenced by both.I always thought they were Alternative..

Anyway, wtf is alternative anyway? Just everything that people don't want to try and classify?
Wow, People actually posted :3! It's a miracle. And I've never heardRadiohead so I can't voice my opinion. o -o

I thought they have Youtube for angsty teenagers who want to disprove religion and complain about a video someone posted about furries. .. . .DracargenNo. Youtube is there for the occasional lulz like Charlie the unicorn and the Frog Brothers as well as music videos. It has no other purpose.
My idea of alternative is like Mika, Coldplay, Aqualung, Dandy Warhols, Keane, Travis.Napster06Those are nothing like Radiohead.

Looking up iTunes Music Store could give you some insight, though.
Those bands can also be classified.
according to iTunesNapster06Steve Jobs does not decide what my music is termed :x
Genre(s)Alternative rock
Art rock
Electronic music
Anyway, Wikipedia wrote Radiohead as an 'Alternative Rock' band, and alternative is a subgenre of Rock. So, I think Radiohead can be rock after all.Napster06
There can be alternative dance or hip-hop too. Alternative is not subgenre, its something else, not sure what.

Yeah, I stand to correct myslef. Radiohead is Alt Rock, and yes, there is also Alt Rap and Alt Country.

Romantic era classical, jazz, no-wave, technical death metal and post-rock.

It's basically progressive rock but more conceptual and with a wider variety of influences. A more fitting label than alternative rock for Radiohead.

Wow... you got really wide taste of music
Don't be fooled I hate a lot of different types of music too.
Mostly alt/prog rock and metal. I've just recently started getting into some neoclassical and neofolk music along with some classical composers too.
And I do like a very small number of hip-hop and electroncia artists too.
