I've heard of all of them, mainly because I hang out in The Metal Union most of the time.

My favorite band in general is HURT and they're not very well known.

Not sure if they are very unknown but Minus The Bear is pretty awesome.

This fairly unknown band out of the Chicago area called Airiel. They are the best Nugaze band out there!

Another not so famous band: Death From Above 1979. My favorite band at the moment. Mainly dance-punk (Not a very popular genre.)
