i haven't seen many, but i liked full metal jacket, black hawk down, behind enemy lines, all's quiet on the western front, and what i saw of saving private ryan. that movie was ****ing intense, but i was smashed when i watched it so maybe that had something to do with it.

Joan of Arc was pretty good. If you want more modern wars then Jarhead was also good. Who can forget the Longest Day and Patton though?

Yes. I borrowed it from a buddy who was talking it up like it was the greatest movie ever. Then I watched it and wondered if I put the wrong dvd in the ps3.

Probably Saving Private Ryan.

Even though I had to sit with my eyes shut through most of it, it had me on the edge of my seat.

yeah, youtube isnt the preferred way to watch a movie, but i use it when i cant find the movie elsewhere. i guess i can see the wait with come and see though, as its proven to cause wrinkles upon watching.

Tied for my favorite movie of all time. Rip Patrick Swayze:(

This and Red Dawn are my favorite movies off all time.

If your into war movies your into Saving Private Ryan there's just no way around it.

They quit producing this, so its a very hard one to find, but its definitely a hidden treasure.

I could watch Platoon every night of the week and not get sick of it.

Not really a war movie, but excellent none the less.

Quite a list you have there friend. I would consider a few of those among my favorites, also there are a few that I am now interested in seeing. A couple more favorites would be Platoon, The Dirty Dozen, Let's Get Harry, and while not what you had in mind.... Starship Troopers.
