Graduation >>>>>>>> MBDTF
I'm sorry, I need an explication for this. On topic: MBDTF and KiD CuDi - Man on the Moon II: The Legend of Mr. RagerJust an opinion. I much prefer the tone of Graduation. It's basically a crystallization of his entire career in one album. The beats are superior as well IMO. MBDTF just seems too..what's the word...artsy. It's still a great piece of work, but it lacks much of the gloss and catch-ness that made Graduation so memorable for me. It's probably his lightestalbum in terms of topics, but there are still a few that touch on great themes such as Big Brother and The Glory. I acknowledge that it's not his best work, but it's definitely my personal favorite.

Hmm, so I'm guessing this album is worth getting?
on the topic, I've been enjoying Killswitch Engage's second self titled album.
No the album is not worth getting, in my opinion at least. It's excruciatingly bland. There are a few standouts, but overall, quite boring. If you liked the Sufferer and the Witness, then you won't like it. If you liked Appeal to Reason, you probably still won't like it. Just think of a worse version of Appeal to Reason.
On a side note, I'm surprised to see another here who enjoyed KSE's latest. I get so much hate for liking that album. I will admit it isn't as good as their last album As Daylight Dies(the best IMO), but there is some great stuff on it still.
I've been listening to this album consistently (at least once a day) for the last six months of my life.

Why
Obviously It's because he thinks It's a good album.Scale the summit- the collective
or
Protest the Hero- scurrilous
Both albums are amazing and are easily two of the best albums of the year.
The Collective is great. But I didn't dig Scurrilous. Apart from C'est la vie, nothing too memorable. I love PTH, but the lyrics on that album are freakin' terrible.Scale the summit- the collective

Oh, I see, sorry if I took it the wrong way:P I prefer MBDTF because I love the fact that it's an artsy album, then again it is my opinion:P The last three minutes of Runaway, the lyrical themes in Gorgeous, the skit in Blame Game, and the energy of Lost in the World are the things I love most about the album.[QUOTE="travisstaggs"]

Well, how's it compare to revolutions per minute and siren song? But I guess I can assume its more comparable to the Appeal to Reason and Sufferer and the Witness.[QUOTE="travisstaggs"]

I thought Endame was a fantastic Rise Against album. I loved the Sufferer and the Witness, Siren Song of Counter Culter and Revolutions Per Minuter and I think Endgame ranks right up there with them. They have created a more polished sound than their earlier albums and have less of the screaming, but the lyrics, vocals and music are still fantastic and still undeniably Rise Against. People always hate on a band if they even so much as think of changing their sound slightly. Would people have prefered that they just reproduced earlier albums endlessly? I found Engame to be far surperior to Appeal to Reason.

To each his own I guess. I didn't find it to be a bad album, just really uninspired. Appeal to Reason I found much more compelling and memorable.
Currently I'll have to go with either The Fragile by nine inch nails, the Zombie EP by The Devil Wears Prada or The King of Limbs by Radiohead
It's still My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy, by Kanye West. It's just amazing.JustPlainLucasSame here. It's been my most played album ever since it came out. The Monitor by Titus Andronicus is a close second place though.
When you think you've heard just about everything... I stumbled upon this and it blew me away. Extreme aussie metal content :)

So much better than his most recent studio album.
