Favourite Beer

Dos Equis. I always laughed at their commercials (the one with older gentleman) until a friend turned me on to it. I went through many beers including American, some German and Mexican. The Germans and Mexicans really know how to make a good beer.

Nothing better for a hard earned thirst than an Ice Cold VB.

Too many great ales and lagers out there to pick just 1. Lately I've been drinking a lot of Brooklyn lager though.

I live in Melbourne, some of my favourite microbreweries are Victorian, like Holgate, Bridge Rd, and Hargraves Hill...

I hate it because it's essentially cat's piss lol.

I find it falls into the same category as Vegemite. Why someone would willingly eat some black sludge made from yeast and that tastes like arse, and then proclaim to like eating it, is beyond me.

This man knows his stuff. I haven't tried all of them, but hes listed some great choices.

A few of friends brew their own beer, and I must admit I'm impressed with how easy it is to make great beer. I've thought about getting into it myself.

YeahI started in my dorm room closet; cant really argue with cheap beer, made the way you like it, and (more importantly) tastier and higher alcohol than Natty Light lol

Its really fun, and as long as you are clean and follow the basics, you will make good-to-great beer. Cleanliness is 80% of it

And now I am a brewmaster lol. I remember the day I got done with school, I was like "Mom, Dad...I am going to make beer for the rest of my life" They were so p-....so pissed

I'm actually thinking of taking c.lasses myself, I can start in september.
As a Belgian I kinda feel obliged to expand my knowledge of beer and to brew it myself.

I really can't pick a favorite, but this is the last one I drank:

"Boerken en Boerinneken". Translated in "Farmer and Farmgirl".
One of a kind Belgian beer, 9,5%

I highly recommend it.
