It's too difficult remembering names of guitarists and choosing favourites is hard. For now I'll just got with Jan Akkerman from the 70's seeing as I'm massively into Focus at the minute. Awesome guitar in Focus songs. There's the obvious ones like David Gilmour and Robert Fripp etc. aswell. Honestly though I'd rather just listen to the music and enjoy it ratherthan try and pick faviourites. Besides, quite often you find guitar can completely take over a song anddemote the role of otherinstruments allowing no other members of the band to shine. That's why I don't like solo artists, it gets old fast.
