Same. I don't think I have ever said I am in front or behind my computer.

Figuratively, in front. If it were literally, then behind.

Behind a desk, in front of the computer. We still don't sit ON the computer, we ARE on the computer (as in using it).

I have a big corner desk with the monitor in the corner and the midtower on one side. If I took a tape measure and measured the distances of the midtower and myself from the monitor, they're roughly equal. I guess that means I sit beside my computer.

I prefer being "on my computer" than the other two, although technically the thing is always physically the one on top of me (laptop).

In front. It just sounds better to me, I guess.

Behind. I mean, the computer is /in front/ of me, hence why I am able to see the screen and access the keyboard.

The front of the computer is facing me and I facing it. However, I let the computer sit behind me to sometimes change things up a bit.
