Firefox 7 Is Out!

After several Beta builds, Mozilla has announced what everyone's anticipated: Firefox 7.0 Final release.

To address recent (and not so) complaints, Firefox 7 has drastically reduced its memory usage and fixed several stability issues. In addition to that, Mozilla's open source web browser also includes a few new features:

- A new rendering backend to speed up Canvas operations on Windows systems

- Bookmark and password changes now sync almost instantly when using Firefox Sync

- An opt-in system for users to send performance data back to Mozilla to improve future versions of Firefox.FavBrowser

I am excited for this version. Why? It fixes what a lot of people have been complaining about, namely memory ursage. What say you, OT?

It feels like yesterday I was downloading the v4.0 beta.

It seems that they're releasing a browser every couple of months. Gets annoying.DroidPhysX

I don't care about plugins as long as Firebug is supported. Which begs the question, does 7 support it?

And I refuse to upgrade from 5.0 because Orbit downloader does not work on versions after that.(along with some other addons)

My Firefox is still 3.0.x :P

Cause every version after that seemed to get really slow and buggy after a couple days use.

I dunno why they are in such a hurry. Are they trying to catch up to Internet Exploder in terms of the digit at the end of the name or something?

And then i tried out chrome,it was FAST! it said F U to customization and does what every browser should've had in mind,FAST BROWSING!

Considering that all browsers seem to have speed in the bag, I personally couldn't do without customization, hence why I prefer to use Opera and Firefox. I can't use Chrome without the likes of Tab Mix Plus or other great extensions, or in the case of Opera, standard features.

And yet I shall continue using google chrome :D

It was just released 13 minutes ago.

Getting pretty annoying with these updates every 2 weeks. Especially since almost all of my addons have to be redownloaded each time.
