What's with all the FF obsessed love?

Love is positive, hate is negative. I wouldn't categorize mine as "obsession" as you put it. :P

It appears as though it breaks HTTPS Everywhere, holding off on the upgrade for now.

EDIT: Nevermind, the extension was updated.

As far as speeds go, I honestly see no difference between Chrome and Firefox anymore.

Sure, hate is negative butI don't hate Firefox, I just love Chrome more. :P It just seems like a few users here are trying their hardest to convince people to switch.

[QUOTE="Loegi"][QUOTE="Victorious_Fize"] Exactly! Firebug just makes everything about FF awesome. XDVictorious_Fize
What exactly does firebug do? On the addons page it says development tools, you use it for that?

Yes, a lot. I really credit my 6 sites coming live because of it. Tried Chrome and Opera's, they just didn't cut it.

Dragonfly just came out, though!

Firefox used to be good back in the day when it was just Internet Explorer, Safari, and Firefox. Now I'm sticking with Google Chrome. Great extensions, fast, hardly any glitches.

Getting pretty annoying with these updates every 2 weeks. Especially since almost all of my addons have to be redownloaded each time.topgunmv
Read this. Also, you have to redownload your extensions every time? What? :?

Wait, really? 1.1? Hmmmmm, exactly when did I start using it. Either way, it's pretty similar to Chrome's built in developer tools, so both their interferences are... flat, for a lack of a better term, which is something I'm highly critical of, and not as clean as Firebug + their inspector is really bad (chrome).

It seems like with the previous update everything went to s***. I kept freezing during normal web-browsing and it got so bad I switched over to Google Chrome. Is everything fixed now? Because I do love Firefox and I want to go back to it. I hate not having a tab dedicated to my favorite sites.

I miss the time when if Firefox changed to a whole different number, not just a decimal, it meant some serious changes and new features were on their way. Firefox used to have big updates that changed a lot of stuff like once every 1-2 years, and all of the minor improvements were just little decimal updates. I like that idea way better. It makes the big "whole number" updates seem more exciting and anticipated.

All the freezing stopped for me in version six and version seven is supposed to "officially" fix everything so it can only be even better, Read the links on the first page for additional info.

I'm using it right now. Seems like it's much better. Thankfully. I was starting to hate Google Chrome.

Well, I upgraded to Firefox 7 now! And the Norton Toolbar still works! And even greater news is that Firefox 7 has finally passed the Acid3 test, with a perfect score of 100%! I guess this is due to the SVG font being removed! :D

I used Chrome for a while when it came out but I couldn't make it my primary browser. It's just so barebones and doesn't allow me to customize it the way I want. D:

I don't like Chrome much but I'll take it over freezing issues I had with FF4,5,6. But, I'll give FF7 a try. Hopefully, it works great because like I said, I don't like Chrome that much.
