which internet browser do you prefer?

I voted for Firefox, though I technically use Minefield.
Thanks for leaving out Safari and IE, TC. They dont deserve any votes :x

Safari is the best by far. Its faster then Firefox and half the code for chromo was taken from Safari. But of the two I would say Firefox, I don't like how Chromo handles flash.
Chrome for me. In my experience Chrome is faster than Firefox, I like how Chrome shows the 8 sites you visit the most frequently on the main page, and I don't need a bunch of customization or add-ons.
Chrome isn't bad but it can't be customized like FF can. For this reason I prefer FF.Tezcatlipoca666
It's getting there.
I use Firefox for the add-ons, but once Chrome gets some decent extensions I can easily see me using it more.AirGuitarist87
It already has some in my opinion. It even has several extensions to block ads.

So speed and simplicty are your thing, I take it? :P
Firefox is garbage and Chrome lacks features. Opera is the only way to go. It comes standard with ad filtering, speed dial, mouse gestures, a torrent client, an IRC client, Turbo, Opera Link, etc. Plus it's faster and isn't a RAM hog.savebattery
Plus, you can add your search engines on the address bar! :o

Perhaps it's a better idea to just link to Opera Features and Opera Tips. :P

I use that feature so much now. It's brilliant. Whenever I pop on over to Firefox, I immediately notice it missing. :(
Ignorance is bliss. If you spent time on Firefox and installed some of the tons of great addons out there, you'd feel Opera was crap when you tried it. The best part about a browser is the ability to customize it, and Firefox is king.F1_2004
Ignorance is bliss indeed. I have 10 Firefox extensions installed, including Xmarks, Tab Mix Plus, AdBlock Plus, and FoxTab, and many of them add to Firefox what Opera already has as standard. Unfortunately, Firefox has become quite the resource hog while Opera still runs smoothly for me. I am a power user and usually have many tabs open (normally more than 10 but I did count 35 at one point) and would like it if my web browser didn't stutter or crash while I use it.

Well then I guess Opera is for you and your 35 tabs. For those of us who operate with a more normal number of tabs that don't cripple a powerful gaming PC, Firefox and its extensions is superior.[QUOTE="Hexagon_777"][QUOTE="F1_2004"]Ignorance is bliss. Installing all those extensions simply to bring Firefox up to speed must be fun. I'll be enjoying those numerous features right off the bat with Opera.

Yeah I still feel the pain of that 1 hour I spent installing those apps 2 years ago.[QUOTE="Hexagon_777"][QUOTE="F1_2004"] Well then I guess Opera is for you and your 35 tabs. You haven't added or removed any extensions since then? Sure.

Yeah, it has some extensions (I'm using Xmarks, Chromed Bird and Facebook) but it just needs more support. I've tried one or two of the adblocking extensions and they're not very good, often still leaving ads on my Facebook and at the foot of these forums. Please Log In to post.
