It already has some in my opinion. It even has several extensions to block ads.

Yeah, it has some extensions (I'm using Xmarks, Chromed Bird and Facebook) but it just needs more support. I've tried one or two of the adblocking extensions and they're not very good, often still leaving ads on my Facebook and at the foot of these forums.

I have this one installed and it works just fine for me. :)

i've tried an adblocker for chrome and it seems more like an ad hider than blocker. the ads are still downloaded but chrome then hides them. the firefox on would just not download them which worked better.

(again with this?) Firefox. Why? Because its fast, fully customizable, and isnt a phishing browser like Google Chrome.
:P
Also, the add-ons for FF are really useful. Yes, Google Chrome has some add-ons now, most dont function the way as they should or lack what FF already has. Overall FF is the better browser.
Chrome isn't bad but it can't be customized like FF can. For this reason I prefer FF.Hexagon_777

https://chrome.google.com/extensions" title="https://chrome.google.com/extensions">It's getting there.

it still wouldnt be as customizable as FF. Google claims their Chrome version is open-source but many are seeing that might not be the case.

Ignorance is bliss indeed. I have 10 Firefox extensions installed, including Xmarks, Tab Mix Plus, AdBlock Plus, and FoxTab, and many of them add to Firefox what Opera already has as standard. Unfortunately, Firefox has become quite the resource hog while Opera still runs smoothly for me. I am a power user and usually have many tabs open (normally more than 10 but I did count 35 at one point) and would like it if my web browser didn't stutter or crash while I use it.Hexagon_777

Well then I guess Opera is for you and your 35 tabs. For those of us who operate with a more normal number of tabs that don't cripple a powerful gaming PC, Firefox and its extensions is superior.

Installing all those extensions simply to bring Firefox up to speed must be fun. I'll be enjoying those numerous features right off the bat with Opera.

well thats the beauty of Firefox. If I want it to be w/e, I can make it w/e.
