Obama is wearing a lapel flag pin!
McCain is not!
duxup
Yeah, but McCain is wearing a candy cane tie. If that doesn't scream America then I don't know what does.
[QUOTE="Bio_Spark"]My God, McCain is blinking furiously. Almost once per syllable.Blu_Falcon37I didn't even notice that :o
Wasn't it in Vietnam when one of the captured prisoners who was video taped for a propaganda film blinked out a covert message?
Is John sending out a message?

Hey no problem :P
I dont know how people could hate Haliey
Agree 100% with Obama on the Iraq War...
Also, I take back my comment earlier about how I thought Obama was more nervous... He definitely speaks less solidly, but McCain is indeed very fidgety and he really does blink a lot.
I don't get Obama's point:
McCain said the strategy was wrong in Iraq after the fall of Baghdad. Than Obama says McCain thinks the war started in 2007. Did I miss something?

I think Obama is getting at that the question was about what the lessons about Iraq are and McCain only talks about recent events and not how we got into a war where there were no terrorist ties and no WMDs.

Saying Obama was wrong and had no clue about the surge.. And Obama was pointing out that prior to 2007 the war in iraq was showing no real improvement.. McCain sounded like Obama had no real reason to oppose it.

I was thinking the same thing when Obama said that.
I was like "....did he not pay attention to what McCain was talking about?"

He's referring to the point that Mccain repeatedly brings up about how successful the "Surge" was in Iraq. He is making the remark as to call McCain out on the horrid mishanding of Iraq pre-Surge.

Hmmmmm, that makes more sense.
By the way, what exactly is McCain's plan for Iraq?
They have cave TROLLS...
I haven't been please with either canidate. Neither of them said anything good on the economy.. Both Obama and McCain seems to have no plan at all. But I guess I like McCain who isn't starting new programs. But Whatever.. That's my speel, Let the trolling continue!
OMG Obama just took a sip of water. :P That glass will be up on E-Bay tomorrow next to Sarah Palin's jet.Aquat1cF1sh

It should be on his website I think?
Someone look at CNN, Channel 33 on Time Warner. What do the audience reactions mean specifically? Obviously the blue line goes up when OBama talks and red line might go down when McCain says something bad. It's taking some of my attention, don't know if it's too important or doesn't matter.RyuHayabusaX
I don't get it either. The audience reaction? Does that mean in the crowd?
I'm getting pretty tired of Obama talking over McCain. If his points are worth listening to, he can say them during his turn.SlorgieNel
They both seem to be lacking common manners. Hooray. Think of how they'll talk to people they don't view as their equals.

Poll machines like Who wants to be a millionare thing.
My mom wanted to let all of you OTers know that she thinks America should have hired a professionally trained private sniper to go into Afganistan and shoot Bin Laden. In her words: "One bullet, boom, done. No bombs or soldiers or anything."
Anyways she just wanted me to post that. *rushes back to the TV*

Yeah, I'm watching it on CNN too and this audience reaction thing has been perplexing me as well.

Seems odd for an audience in a debate to have them. Does who wins the debate depend on how the audience feels or some official poll done through politicians?Someone look at CNN, Channel 33 on Time Warner. It's annoying and distracting.
