REALLY?! I loved it I didn't like the entire end sequence of No Country for old Men. The entire movie other than that was amazing though

I thought that last scene was weird, but I sure didn't expect it to be the end. That villian was pretty intense, like a freaking Terminator just kept coming.

Cabin fever. What was one of the best big screen debuts for a modern horror filmaker ends on a poor taste half racist joke.way to go eli roth. I should have took it as a sign of things to come because the quality of his movies have tanked since.

Then you obviously didn't even know what was going on in The Departed. Pinkk346

I understood the plot ( eventually, it doesn't help that Matt Damon and Leonardo Dicaprio look confusingly similar), it just seemed a rather cheap and lazy way to end a film.

P.s. By far the worst ending in a book I've come across is "A Clockwork Orange". Thank God Kubrick ended the film when he did.

The endings that really piss me off is the ones that you can predict before you even watch the movie. Everything is wrapped up in a nice little package and we all see it coming a mile away. Some examples: Marley and Me, Mighty Ducks series (come on, we know they always get their asses kicked and then pull it together to win the big game in the end), most horror movies these days (virgin nice girl survives killer/creature in the end). Just too many to name.

[QUOTE="Rikardur"]Serenity. Not that it was a bad ending, Its just that it reminds me that a new movie will likely never come, and if it does it would never be the same :cry:cowboymonkey21
Man, I miss Firefly.:(

This is the chief reason I despise the typical Hollywood "comedy" vehicle ith the likes of Will Farrell or Adam Sandler or the like. Utterly formulaic story with jokes you can see coming from a mile off.

Now if we are talking good endings I loved Fight Club, that was just beautiful.

The Ninth Gate pretty much wins at having the worst ending to a movie ever.

SPOILER ALERT*

He finally finds the ninth page to the satanic book, and it zooms in on the page and the castle on the page is the castle he was last at (and in), and it shows a figure walking through the doors (and the inside lights up). Cut to credits. The end.

I was like, what? There's gotta be more after the credits. It has to explain what happened with the ninth page. :?

Pathology. I feel like I'm the only one who had to suffer through this however. The ending basically just gives one last giant middle finger by making the ONLY character who was remotely likeable into a complete colostomy bag along with everybody else.

[QUOTE="Lord_Daemon"]

asdf

Monster A Go Go wins by a very large margin in my opinion.

God, this one was crap. I own the MST3K version, and even that one is difficult to watch.
