Flipping another topic around...what movies do HATE, but everyone else likes?

I couldn't think of many good examples for the other topic, but I think I have an easier time here. 1) The Neverending Story. This movie really pissed me off. It had its good moments, which I think is what makes me hate it even more. I came so close to loving it, but then I start thinking about it and realize that it's crap. 2) Beetlejuice. Maybe this shouldn't be here, because I don't HATE it. But I do think it sort of sucks compared to 'classic' Tim Burton. I think that Beetlejuice just goes a little overboard with the 'stupid' and doesn't have nearly the heart and soul of stuff like Ed Wood or Edward Scissorhands. It's not HORRIBLE, but it sort of sucks and it's a little too gimmicky, and it's annoying how people are constantly calling it one of his best works. 3) Sin City. Yes, it looked amazing. Yes, it was also a thin, infantile piece of work. And yes, I also realize that that's sort of the entire point. Still, that doesn't exactly make it any more enjoyable. It still just seems like a 12 year old boy's wet dream. I hate the hell out of it, even if I am willing to accept it as 'good'. Now your turn.

2001: A Space Odyssey (I love some parts, but overall, I think it's just a very poorly paced movie,) Catfish, Drive, Juno, Napoleon Dynamite, The Fountain, Rubber.

I think the Breakfest Club is very overrated. I get the point the movie is trying to make, but it's so stereotypical and boring, the characters had no depth to them whatsoever.

Yes, that movie sucked! I also didnt like TDKR ...it was a bit cheesy, and the cop vs thugs battle was just ridiculous

It was a good yarn though. Different setting from Hollywood as well. It really wasn't too bad.

I think Inception is the most overrated movie from 2010. And it irritates me how people who like the movie will assume that anyone who didn't like it was just too stupid to "get it", as if that movie is some profound life-changing masterpiece that only the intellectual elite (high school boys, apparently) are capable of grasping the essence of. So I guess I hate its fan base rather than the movie itself, but whatever. There are a lot of weak plot crutches and inconsistencies though, so it's a mediocre movie.

Inception was overrated because Christopher Nolan did a much better, sober, down to earth, film with more or less the same pretext with Memento. That movie was brilliant, Inception had Dicaprio, Cillian Murphy and Ken Watanabe etc all great actors but the whole thing was just too over the top and the end was predictable as ****.
