I think this was a line in Pulp Fiction.
I believe the line was something to the effect of, "It's sad that what is pleasing to the touch is seldom the same as was what's pleasing to the eye.".... in reference to the pot belly comment. But that is a very old saying that predates PF... I certainly don't claim to take credit for it. Oh, and for me it's so true.
My first girlfriend back in middle school was skinny, and one of the biggest shockers for me was how hard and boney she was. I know that sounds silly, but I always had this impression that holding a girl in your arms would be a lot like hugging a pillow. I was wrong.

Believe me, they all smell weird at times. I won't get into details but that's one of the sad truths you will have to learn about women eventually.
But hey, I agree with this poster. I've seen beautiful women of all sizes, and I wouldn't be the least bit ashamed to walk hand in hand in public with a big beautiful babe. If you don't find larger (not obese) women attractive that's one thing, but if you avoid them because you're embarrassed about the "fat stigma" then you're just less of a man because of it.

Sorry to be the one to break it to you. Even the fluffy ladies aren't as soft and fluffy as you would think a girl should be. My first girlfriend, a relatively skinny gal, used to like to lay on top of me while we watched movies on the couch. I was a man torn between feelings. On the one hand I enjoyed being close to my gal. On the other hand, her elbows, hip bone and other extremities used to tear into me every time she decided to change position. Ouch!
No worries, you'll get used to it very quickly and learn to tolerate the hard spots while you enjoy the soft ones. :P
