I don't really feel thats true. If apple started fixing all their macs to be unable to view porn, it wouldn't be a good thing for them. I wouldn't buy a product with less features when theres one with more that is basically the same thing.
Why the hell would anyone care if I can get porn on my iPhone? What buisness is it of theirs?

The difference is that iPhones still give access to it in certain places, just not the app store. If they blocked it out on all Macs, they would essentially be censoring the internet, which wouldn't fly with a lot of people, especially considering that Apple doesn't run the internet. The App Store, however, is run by Apple and things offered there may reflect their companies image.
I don't see how it hurts their image anymore than allowing obscenely violent games on their phone. I didn't know apple HAD a family friendly Disney image. When I think of Apple I think of overpriced incompatable with most software computers.
They don't have to support a family friendly image. The line is pretty much drawn at porn. As far as any other types of media, they can contain violence, crimes, drugs, etc, but never do they allow porn. Not in TV, movies, or video games do you see ever porn. All you may see if brief nudity
