Who the heck goes to McDonalds for apples?

My thoughts exactly. This is ridiculous.

This sounds about right to me. Next thing that will get chopped out of the Happy Meals are those toys. Its so silly that parents cant get their kids to eat right (or so they claim) because McDonalds gives toys away with their unhealthy meals. Parents with obese kids: your kids will still eat McDonalds regardless of the toy or the fries, and they will still be obese unless you change their diet for the better.People need to stop being lazy. I can cook a healthy meal for 4 in about 30 minutes. No problem. Get the kids to help with the dishes and setting up the table and BAM healthy family meal.
When I see a really obese kid I just want to smack the parents laziness and poor decision making. That kid is screwed for life because the parents refuse to learn to parent correctly. They'll put the blame on everything but themselves. Grades low? Teacher's fault. Kid is fat? McDonald's fault.
Damn blame society.

Yet again. Looking outside of the obvious moral preaching.. How bout we actually get some real solutions put forward instead of preachign to the choir..

The solutions are already there. Some parents are just too blind to see they're not educating their kids properly. I don't think removing fries from happy meals just because some people aren't responsible enough to eat junk food in moderation is a good solution.

McDonalds is delicious. Not as good as Taco Bell though.

Any who says delicious, either hasn't had a good meal or needs to see a doctor. McDonalds in the low of the low of food.
I've had many good meals and I just saw a doctor 6 months ago, everything is fine :|
McDonalds tastes good. I'd say the lowest of low is White Castle.
I like McDonald's a lot as well. For the price, the food isn't bad at all. I usually just pick something up if I'm in a hurry. They have a dollar menu that's hard to beat and delicious smoothies, oatmeal, etc.[QUOTE="Atmanix"]

No it's not. Think about it please.
Thinking about it makes me hungry.
 countering opinion arguments with logic. What actually bothers me the most is that in general gets more heat than sit down restaurants. It doesn't matter where it comes from, the food generally has about the same number of calories (or more, since they may often be bigger meals in sit down restaurants) and about the same amount of fat. Also, it kind of annoys me how mcdonalds is always the one taking the heat, when all of these fast food restaraunts are generally just as bad for you.

I have to agree with this. Today's society seems to think that its never the parents fault.
My brother has a gluten problem........ just in case you aren't already aware, Betty Crocker makes a decent brownie mix and, I'm very happy to say (especially because I like hosting BBQ's where my brother can eat)....... Nathan's now makes Gluten-Free Hot Dogs.phew. good thing i cant eat the food at mcdonalds anyway (gluten alergy)

Yeah. They know exactly what they are doing. They have come out and said their food is not healthy. It's not trying to be. Stop taking your kids to these places! Make your own meal. It's cheaper and it's healthier.
there nothing wrong for kids eating from fast food places. as long its done in moderation
