For everyone who watches Heroes

Peter is the most OP. He has all of Sylars powers + more. Sylar as to kill people to learn their abilities, Peter merely has to be in their vicinity. So inactuality, Peter also has Sylars powers. Just by walking next to Sylar, Peter has sylar's native abilities and all the abilities he stole from people. Not that it matters considering Heroes has been a huge steaming pile since season 2 :?II_Seraphim_II

Im intriged by Daphine's character. Skylar was always great although peter's is better because he doesnt have to kill people.

Seriously. Time travel is way too abused. The moment you add liberal time travel (time travel that characters have direct control over) the plot becomes worthless. Your heroes can go back to any point in time and fix their errors. So in actuallity, its like playing a game with unlimited continues...stupid. And Season2 also introduced another major plot killer...claire's blood being able to bring back the dead. Death is meaningless now...its like World of Warcraft now, "oh crap i died, just gimme 2 mins to run back to my body :|" When death becomes pointless, all suspense and danger ceases to exist.

Now, I've only watched the first episode of Season 3 (the double episode) and while it was better I was dissapointed to find out that we are now back to the stupid old time traveling plot. For Christ sake...time travel is what almost killed Xmen! Time travel is messy and unless in the hands of truly talented writers, comes off as a cheap mechanic (which it is). They need to give limitations to heroes time travel. Hiro talks about paradox causing a Quantum rift if he met himself, but in season 2 ( i think it was) he meets himself and nothing happens :| They should have the rule of 3 (created by Piers Anthony) regarding time travel. One can only affect the same period of time 2 times. First time is the normal time stream, second time is when he alters the past, and third time is impossible because 2 equally potent powers of time manipulation will be working against each other thus cancelling each other out and disallowing time travel in that period. Alteast that sets some boundaries and makes time travellers ungodly.

And my last problem with Heroes...Sylar. FFS! Sylar isnt that good of a villian! Even with amazing villians like The Joker, they take a break and let sum other guys terrorize the world! Now we have 3 seasons with Sylar as the villian....not fun anymore. Either kill him off, or have him switch sides and grudgenly help the Heroes. 1 dimensional "i want teh powazzz!" Sylar is getting boring. What makes him pitiful is that he is so cliche'! All he wants is power....I know if i wrote a story in lit class and the villians driving force was "thirst for power" i would get an F. Its over done! do sumthing new. We need smarter villians like Magneto. he doesnt want power, he is actually more of an anti-hero who wants to create a better place for his kind, although at times he takes it too far, but atleast his reasons are understandable and moving.

Maya is hot but im sad she got suckered my Mohinder's power.

Mohinder is just horrible scientist, never does anything.

Sylar is okay, I have a soft spot for him.

Claire is getting extremely annoying how she wants everyone to feel pain when she can not. She had somewhat of a good argument not feeling anything but then when she got mopey, I cast her off.

So, who do you guys actually like?

I wish the guy who uses fear and Daphine would gain some backstory.

What's with them trying to portray Sylar as sympathetic and leading him to the path of redemption? I like Sylar as a mass murdering sociopathic, Darwinist with no morals or regret for what he committed. It was his antagonist behaviour that grouped the heroes together in the first place and now the writers are trying to make him a hero? WTFgreenprince

I agree, it's Pretrelli. And so far I've been disappointed this season. There are so many twists and turns, new characters, and *POSSIBLE SPOILER* you have to keep the present and future characters seperate that it's not only getting annoying, but the character development is being sacrificed. So far Dexter has delivered though, so I'm not totally disappointed this season.

But I'm pretty sure that Petrelli only takes powers that are active in his presence... at least, he seems to have a lot of trouble using new powers until he've seen them... not sure how he grabbed the cheerleader's powers though >.>

Ok, good rants so far, with a lot of great points, so heres mine.

I agree that on paper Sylar has by far the most power at this point. However, now his power has become his 'hunger' and he actually seems to hate it. And I agree that the new Sylar with a soul is not as villian like, it does expand his character and the plot of the story (When they killed his kid and he freaked that was pretty awesome).

Future Peter seems to have the most power overall, but now that Peter took Sylars hunger it remains to be seen how this will affect him.

I dont like the fact that the took the cop-out with Nikki/Jessica. It seems like they didnt know where to go with them/her so they killed her off and now all of a sudden they have an icy triplet sister. The split personality was far more interesting.

As far as the time travel goes, it has been a part of this series since the get-go so it has to stay. This weeks episode had a lot of back and forth, and got a little irritating. But thats the path they choose to do in a very Lostesque fashion to keep you saying "Now how the flark did that happen??"

Seaon 3 has been as good as the rest so far, with the exception of Nikki/Jessica. The show is great for anyone like me who loves superpowers.

Ok, just watched the latest episode, and I gotta say, Heroes has got its flair (sp?) back. Its not as good as season 1, but its a definite improvement. I might actually tune in to watch it rather than record it for later. Im just hoping that this is the last season where time travel is such a big deal. And anyone know wat happened to that girl that got stuck in the future in season 2? You know, the irish girl?II_Seraphim_II

The time-travelling has comlicated things a lot and I think it's over-used... at the same time, those flashes they get of the future are just the things that make me come back to the show every week >.>

I agree. but im hoping that these few eps being better than volume 2 means that the show will steadily improve as it goes on. I dunno about you guys, but i think the show is a lil messy. Too many rehashed mechanics and 20 different stories. Now while that is ok in comics, its annoying here at times because sum of the stories are really boring and they just waste the 40 mins we have :?

yeah my assumption is that when he opens your head, he can see how you use your brain. Then with his advanced mental capabilities, he is able to effectively alter or "fix" how his brain works to match anyone elses. just a thought and luv your sig. The Darkness is a great comic, and the game is great too :D
