it's a fucking coin people.

if you have strong feelings about it EITHER way, that's kinda strange.

Not really, I find it awful mostly because coins last for centuries

I don't want this act of pandering to be the thing someone finds in the year 3000

You guys are as annoying as SJWs at this point, hope you know that.

They scream "offensive", you scream "pandering". Neither have a grasp on reality.

Jaysonguy actually imagines people finding these coins in the year 3000 and laughing at us for thinking anything but white people were worthy of being on coins and laughing at us cavemen. That's how gross and ignorant this troll pretends to be. This is the alt-right mentality that cheers the Trump victory. How do you Trump supporters who claim not to be racists view this sort of thing? I'm guessing with denial.

I'm honestly surprised this doesn't have more left complaints. I guess people forgot who the body model for Lady Liberty was.

*triggered*

Not in the least, just stating facts.

Just in case you're worried I also don't get upset when I say the sky is blue or water is wet.

Why does it matter if Lady Liberty is depicted as a black woman? Why is it awful? How is it pandering?

Because she's a white person with English and French ancestry.

**Roman goddess you mean? Hardly pandering, sorry for recognizing those who actually built the country with their bare hands and didn't play dress up in the White House.

***French streetwalker. The character may have been loosely based on a Roman goddess, but the model was definitely not Roman.

And I bet that illuminates what I was referring to in my previous post.

She's an avatar for a concept. Make her look like whatever you want.
